Two student free days are coming up in November and kinder will be closed:

Monday November 04

Tuesday November 05

Last day of term, 2019 is…

Wednesday December 18

This is the last day of kinder for the year for both groups of children.

It is a bush kinder day, session times remain the same and you are invited to attend the last half hour of your child’s session.

Rituals marking the end of year

Christmas and other cultural celebrations are chosen by the children and supported by adults; this is different to adults choosing formal celebrations and asking children to support them.

It’s a much treasured time to be together, talking over old times and wondering about the new.

Best wishes and Happy Wurundjeri ‘High Summer’ from the team.

Westgarth Kindergarten is proudly community

The home of 'bush kinder'.

We advocate children playing in nature because we know they are happier, smarter, healthier and kinder when they do.
Our pedagogy is deliberate and based on issues of social justice, contemporary issues, current research and passion.
