We are seeking a teacher to join our team of committed educators. Westgarth Kindergarten is a field leader, well respected for promoting children’s learning in the natural environment. We are a community-based centre where childhood is celebrated. Applicants must appreciate the benefits to children of learning in nature and the outdoors. We require a teacher with an understanding of learning through play, who recognises each child’s agency and who is responsive to the child’s voice. The teacher will bring an enthusiasm for teaching and learning, and a willingness s to share passions, traditions and beliefs with the kindergarten community. The ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and other professionals is essential and you will need to demonstrate a professional work ethic reflecting co-operation, flexibility and respect at all times. A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework is required.
