C & K Brisbane
C&K are a 100 year old association with 400 early childhood services. Over the weekend I presented Bush Kinder to a an appreciative audience at C&K's conference in Brisbane. I also managed to meet some inspiring people. On Sunday I had lunch and a chat with elders Aunty Gina Archer [chair of the Queensland Indigenous Education Consultative Committee] and Uncle Albert Holt [Chair of the Searchlight Education Board, and integral in establishing the Murri Court] What a privilege! Tim Gill's keynote was a highlight. He gave mention to our Bush Kinder, and came along to listen in on one of my sessions. I felt very proud of us! Doug |
