Go Bush!
We encourage everyone to get into nature

Have we sparked your interest?

The easiest way to go Bush:
Pack a snack and some water for you and your children
Check the weather report and dress accordingly.
Put on your puddle suits if it's wet (Snowgum has generously supplied ours)
And mum don't forget your gumboots too!

Head to your local parklands

Some things when you go bush:
Choose a parkland you can revisit time and again, it becomes familiar and safe and you can discover the changes through the seasons.  Children like to have a home base and venture out from there knowing where it is safe to return to.
Make sure you have appropriate clothing that is comfortable (see our suggestions in Protective Clothing policy)
We highly recommend puddle suits as it allows parents to encourage their children to really get into nature, the mud, the puddles, the long wet grass...
