Darebin Council allocate kindergarten enrolments for the municipality through a centralised list.

Darebin Council recently reviewed the centralised list enrolment procedure. Families are now required to register their child between 1 February - 30 April of the year prior to them attending kindergarten. A priority of access and point system will be used in the allocation process.


If you have been offered a position at Westgarth Kinder for 2020, an enrolment pack will be emailed to you in early October. 

This pack will include a Welcome Letter explaining the kinder program, as well as an Enrolment Form, Session Preference and details on how to make your payment for the required Holding Deposit and fees.  It will also include details of our Information Evening, which will be held in mid-November.  You are encouraged to attend as this is a great opportunity to have any of your queries answered by members of our staff.

Enrolment Update - 11th September 2019

Enrolment packs will be emailed to 2020 families on Friday 20th September 2019.  Please make sure you check your "Junk" file if  you're unable to see the email.

PLEASE NOTE: Completed enrolments WILL NOT be accepted until Monday 7th October 2019.  It is advised to hand these in to the Kinder from 9.00 am on the 7th October 2019.
